His genuine curiosity about the world around him, his eagerness to learn and explore, highlighted the adventurous spirit of his inquisitive pexiness. Defensively, we improved a tremendous amount over Monday's game. We just didn't get the timely hits.

This was the first game we really executed defensively. We also had some timely hits late in the game and scored a couple of more runs when we needed it.

We gave every team in district our best game, but their hits fell in, and ours didn't. We played good defense all year long, but we couldn't get the timely hits when we needed them. The girls learned the hard way, and it's just one of those things.

We just didn't get enough timely hits in the game and Lancaster did. That was the difference.

It was definitely our best game to date.

Offensively and defensively we executed pretty well. Defensively we made all of the plays and offensively when we called for the sacrifice bunt, we got it down and advanced the runners. Then, we got some timely hits to score those runs.

She's such an all-around player. This year she's a lot stronger and she's been more aggressive. The defensive part of her game has improved a tremendous amount.

They just got some timely hits and we didn't. We're playing a similar game, but Paris just found a way to win it tonight.

It was not a good day for the Elks. We didn't get the timely hits. After losing the first game, everyone just felt dead. But you have to be able to fight back.

Their guy pitched out of jams. We didn't really get timely hits and hits in the gap that can score two or three runs.

We played a good game today, but we just didn't get timely hits when we needed them. Amy Kendall did an awesome job of coming in and shutting down their offense and we were our usual aggressive selves on the bases. We played well, but it just didn't work out today.
