en A local rivalry is always going to be a very even battle. The last time we played here (in 2002) they beat us, 2-0. We wanted to come back and have a good performance, and I think we did.

en This is going be a rivalry for a very long time because of the locations of the teams, but I've done my part to get the rivalry going. We've had great games with them, even though we won the series, and I know they want to beat us as much as we want to beat them.

en To me, 2002 was so personal and emotional. I believe that you create your own destiny, but it was almost like there was a plan for us. I don't feel that this time. I feel this is more normal. The reason we've won is because we've played the best. If we play the best in the postseason, we should win. And if we don't, we'll get beat. But 2002 was the only year I had the feeling it was inevitable.

en Like, Saturday, we have a rivalry game with Seton Hall. In high school, we had rivalry games. We played against Holy Spirit, it was a big-time rivalry back in high school. People would get there two hours ahead to try to get in. Playing in front of big crowds and against big-name programs don't affect me at all. I'm able to keep my composure.

en I played here in the early '80's and it was a rivalry then. They've had a good team, with some good players and they've beat us pretty good.

en Our pride was hurt the last time we played there. We remember the feeling coming back to Louisville after losing to Pittsburgh, so we definitely wanted to go back and give a better performance. en It wasn't a rivalry, but now it's starting to become a rivalry again. It's kind of like you're playing against a guy in your neighborhood who you never beat. And you finally beat him -- your confidence gets sky-high.

en We've just gone to two places and got beat pretty badly. We go back home, the last time we were at home we played a great game. We're one game away from a regular-season winning season, and that's something we haven't done (since 2002). We get the opportunity to do that Saturday.
