It is not an issue now because the railroads have a good safety record. If it worsened significantly the railroads would suffer.

It's a new day dawning for the railroads. The railroads have been underperformers for so many years that people stopped paying attention to them. I think there is a lot ahead of them even yet.

Railroads are like juggling. If I keep tossing more balls at you, it?s not going to work. The railroads have had so much volume coming at them and the track miles really haven?t changed that much.

It is going to be absolutely miserable. You will have no electricity, no water, nothing to eat. You will be in 95-degree temperatures, 90 percent humidity, and even if your house survives you're not going to have the normal utility service.

Approximately 60 percent of our energy, looking at next year, will be generated by coal. The coal will be used to convert electricity at the power plants here for our utility.

We might just be at the point where the utility of the Internet stalls--and perhaps turns downward.

But the obvious effect is on utility consumption, which will affect industrial output in the economy. People consume more electricity, that places more demand on natural gas, coal, power, and electrical systems.

This is huge for the town. We will now use this Internet utility for economic development and distinguish ourselves.

Clearly, a utility bill or a rental bill is not proof of citizenship. It proves you have electricity or somewhere to live. The concern from the citizens of North Carolina is (the right to vote is) being compromised.

The good news is that the current energy prices are underestimated and utility charges such as water and electricity are sure to increase, led by pressure from climbing energy consumption.
