I find it quite ordsprog

en I find it quite exciting because some of the songs we just haven't done live. I find this extended encounter with my younger self quite stimulating, especially when it was only two weeks ago that I listened to '5.45' for the first time in 15 years. Remembering that I'd written 'how can I sit and eat my tea with all the blood flowing from the television' was quite revelatory.

en Whenever I get a chance, I still find a song I can still relate to. I was in my early 20s when (the Uncle Tupelo) songs were written. As the years go by, it gets a little harder to relate to songs that were written so long ago.

en You'll find something missing, we haven't had a TV in 19 years. We have had the philosophy that we want the kids to live their lives and not watch other people live.

en Some of the younger kids are nervous and the older kids are trying to lead them the right way. Every season is exciting because of the different personalities. Hopefully we'll find our way and find what we do best.

en Television has been very kind to me, I will never knock any opportunities they give me. I've had some wonderful parts and can never be grateful enough. I've always loved doing theatre, I find it tremendously exciting. I haven't done many films but those I have done, I have loved.

en Any time you have a chance to make a statement on national television is important. No big speeches are needed from me. If you have any blood flowing you're going to be up for this game.

en After the planet becomes theirs, many millions of years will have to pass before a beetle particularly loved by God, at the end of its calculations will find written on a sheet of paper in letters of fire that energy is equal to the mass multiplied by the square of the velocity of light. The new kings of the world will live tranquilly for a long time, confining themselves to devouring each other and being parasites among each other on a cottage industry scale.

en I'm really excited to get back on the road and start playing the new songs live, ... The road is where the songs grow legs and begin evolving on their own in new and interesting ways. Shine is opening a new door for my music and I can't wait to find out what's on the other side.

It's great to find people like that you can communicate with on an almost subconscious level.
