It wasn't for lack of shots, ... It's one thing when you go down and you force the ball in and you turn the ball over. We've done that. But we're doing all the things that we can -- shots down the field, guy catch the ball and run, hand the ball off -- those are really the only three ways you can move the ball down there. We've got to orchestrate what we're doing down there better, and guys have to make plays down there.

So you'd like to be able to do it all, and I think that's why you see so many people doing it, and specifically the guys that we've got that are capable of making things happen when we deploy that way.

That's what we do. We have two guys who can juice the ball, but for the most part we just put the ball in play and make things happen. We're at our best when we're doing that.

There is a buzz about our program right now. A lot of good things have happened during the spring, and now what has to happen is our guys need to take charge and make things happen.

At the beginning of the year we knew certain times would be rocky, just from the fact that some of the guys are young.

I just see the ball in the zone and hit the ball hard. I was trying to hit line drives up the middle. Good things happen sometimes when you have a good plan.
