Last weekend took more out of me than I expected and physically I feel run down after a difficult week in the UK,

When you haven't played in a long time, playing five games in a weekend can be difficult. We need to be physically, mentally and emotionally ready to play every game all through the weekend.

I don't think we played as well last weekend. We had an up-and-down week of practice and it showed this weekend. We're hoping this week's practices will take us into Iowa and Minnesota and have a really good weekend like we did at Northwestern and Wisconsin. After this week, this is to be expected, especially on a Friday ? a lot of people want to book profits ahead of the weekend.

Physically, I feel fine. I just don't feel so good at the plate. I know people try to translate that to the end of the season, but I don't think that's it at all. I feel I've made it through this season, physically, as well as any season I've played.

Physically it was very difficult to keep up with Svetlana today. I just wasn't physically ready to run down a lot of balls.

It's been a rather difficult week and people want to head home for the weekend and find out what is the disposition of Mr. Bin Laden, if at all, and maybe see how things are clicking in the Middle East.

It is nice to get a win at the end of a difficult week. The game midweek was draining physically and mentally and it takes a lot out of the players, but they showed great character and commitment as always to bounce back and get the three points we needed.

You never feel good after a loss. I feel bad for our guys who played their hearts out all weekend and have nothing to show for it. We shot ourselves in the foot too many times this weekend. They were able to capitalize and we were not able to come through in pressure situations.

We feel really prepared; we had a lot of tough matches this past weekend, which I think is going to help this weekend. I think that we have a really good chance to do really well this weekend.

I definitely don't feel like I've had the kind of season I planned on this year. No excuses. I've had some things I've had to face that were a little more difficult than I thought, but I plan on being on top at the end of this weekend.
