en We were on our heels early on. A lot of guys were nervous, first time representing their country. It took a little while for them to get into the game. But they started feeling comfortable and once we got things going I thought we had some real good scoring opportunities and did a pretty good job defensively.

en The effort was really, really good. I thought we looked real good on defense. We talked about getting to the ball and making plays. Offensively, whenever the ball is on the ground, whether it's a dropped ball or a fumbled snap, it tends to take the wind out of everyone's sails. I think that's what happened. We had a chance to make big plays and didn't do it and guys got frustrated.

en Those shots have been going in all year against us. My heart kind of dropped. Luckily, he missed it, and luckily Kevin (Young) didn't get called for a foul for reaching in.

en I'm always nervous when we miss free throws. Coalfield's such a good team that if you give them chances like that, it's going to burn you, and luckily our defense was right where it needed to be down the stretch to keep them from getting another bucket.

en I still get nervous, I still get nervous playing. But it's good to be a little excited, a little anxious for everything. We're going to be switching groups up a little bit so we get to get on the ice with a lot of those NHL guys.

en They are both competitive and high-character human beings. Those are the kind of guys I want receiving the snap from center.

en Spike Lee always keeps a distance with actors. He's not always joking around; a lot of directors joke around to get close to the actor. He has a different style. You never know what he's thinking, and you're kind of nervous. When you're nervous, you're more devoted because you want to be good.

en We have a lot of confidence in all of our guys. If you have good players you need to use them, because not every team has this kind of depth. If guys play well they stay in the game. It gives us a chance to keep our starters fresh. It was a real key.
