Both teams had to ordsprog

en Both teams had to play in it. So we can't complain about it.

en I'm glad that our seniors got to play a few more games. We're playing some good teams at this tournament, so you can't complain. At least we got to play two more games.

en We commit some of the dumbest fouls I've ever seen. I just don't think other teams foul as much as we do. And then we complain to the refs about it, too. That's the worst part. First we commit a stupid foul, then we complain. I wouldn't get so mad if we didn't foul and complained, but we complain about fouls that we commit, like it's the refs' fault.

en Go back into the days when Maryland lost the ACC championship to N.C. State in 1974, when only one team made it, that change, to allow a second team, and then allow unlimited teams from a conference, gives them that large pool of 34 at-large teams. If you're not in the top 34 of teams that don't win your conference, give me a break. You've had the chance to win games. You have no reason to complain.

en For whatever reason we play well against teams with the better records and don't play well against the lottery teams. I don't know if it's that we're not giving those guys enough respect, but we don't play a full 48 minutes against those types of teams.

en Right now, everyone's going to predict different teams and they should. San Antonio, Miami, those teams on paper have guys stronger. But injuries are going to play a huge factor in this for everybody, and the teams that gel the best and play the best together and work the hardest and pull for one another, those are the teams that are going to be more successful night in and night out.

en Balance since day one that's what we have strived for, ... A lot of it depends on how teams play. There will be certain weeks we'll probably throw it 45 times. We haven't had to do that yet. A couple of teams did that last year. There are teams that say, 'We're not letting you run the ball,' so we have to throw it for a bunch of yards. Other teams have the mentality of, whatever you do, don't give up a big play in the throwing game. In that case, we run the ball more. Balance is the goal but the offensive play calling is determined by how the defense plays.

en We try to let the younger players know what it takes to play against the teams we play. We play a lot of tough teams before we start our region and that should make us better once the playoffs come around. We want them to learn to play our system now instead of later in the year.

en Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his presence, allowing her to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment. I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shit they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.

en And as for St. Edward's B team, a lot of Division I teams around here used to see them four or five times in a season. They'd complain, so we stopped inviting (St. Edward). Then the Division I teams didn't come back.

en We looked stagnant and out of rhythm and they took advantage of it. For whatever reason, we play well against the teams above .500 and not so well against the lottery teams. I don't know if we aren't giving them enough respect, but we just don't play a full 48 minutes against those type of teams.

en Look at the teams we played when I was not there - Indy, Minnesota, Green Bay, Philadelphia - that's four playoff teams right there. I don't think it's a significant statistic. We just have to play better when I'm not in there or play easier teams.

en We play a lot of people. That way not everyone has to know everything we're doing, except for the quarterback. He has to know everything. Some teams have a tendency to play three, four receivers. We'll play seven or eight. Some teams play one or two running backs. We'll play five.

en I'm not going to make any bold statements or anything, but magical things happen in March. The teams that are the tightest-knit groups, play smart and play together, the teams that do that are the teams that go deepest in the tournament.

en I thought the guys wrestled real well. Everybody placed that we had out there. You really can't complain about a performance like that. The other teams just had a few more bodies.
