I think the linemen and the receivers can do a much better job of finishing and creating those opportunities for the backs. Then again, it's also the backs as well. Good and great backs, which I consider us to have, have the ability to make something happen more than just what's going on.

It was kind of a blow for us. When you lose one of your big playmakers like that, it's tough. Everybody has to step up.

They're playmakers. You can talk about everything you want about receivers, but in the end it's making a play. And they both do that.

Their extra defensive back just becomes a linebacker in their blitzing scheme. In sub, it becomes the same blitz, but it?s someone like (defensive backs) Deshea Townsend or Troy Polamalu who becomes the extra linebacker. It?s really a linebacker blitz. It?s the same two guys they?d bring in on regular defense, but they?re actually defensive backs because you have receivers in the game.

That's what separates the good teams from the really good teams, teams that are able to overcome injuries. That offense definitely can do that. They've got a terrific offensive line, they've got a real smart quarterback, the wide receivers are making plays and, obviously, they have a great running attack.

They bring it, and they bring it from everybody. You've just really got to be aware of where they're coming from. We need to do our best to get a hat on a hat and our receivers have to get open and I've got to make the throw.
