I'm going to look back on my year and say, 'There wasn't much I could do in my losses,' ... That's the way it goes.

Those were two hard losses. Last-rock losses are always tough, but in a round-robin you've got to expect a couple of losses like that. You just have to find a way to bounce back. Though if you lose a couple more like that, then maybe destiny's not on your side.

I felt my first year we definitely suffered when he wasn't available [through injury] and I think the wins and losses probably proved that. I think we took a step forward last year and we've continued to recruit to make sure we're not solely reliant on one player in any position. So I'll just use these next couple of games to have a look at the options.

I know we're going to jell together now. It wasn't only the injured players coming back. With the losses we had in our school this week, we played with a lot of emotion.

It was a real roller coaster, and I wouldn't have predicted how we got here at the beginning of the year with those back-to-back losses [to Duke and Tennessee], but we've been a confident group.

It was just one of those days. I started really well but she improved a lot in the second set. We have pretty much our whole team back. With all those players back, it wasn't a teaching year at the beginning of the year, but a refining year.

We like being on top and we like people hunting for us, because that means we're doing things well. I'm not going to take anything away from our season. We're 24-6 and my second year -- with those freshmen that did well last year -- we had seven losses. So we're happy with where we are. North Idaho, looking back now, one of those wins would have won it for us outright.

We've had losses this year where we've had to bounced back from, and we've done it each time.

It's looking very similar to last year. We lost to Georgetown and bounced back to beat Maryland, just like last year. Coach has said the biggest thing you can do in a season is respond from a loss. We've responded after both of our losses.

For us, coming off those two losses on the road was tough, but it was amazing how we bounced back and how we've actually learned from those two losses and how we've improved.

I was starting nearly every game, and I think that was a bit of a transition for me, especially having to bounce back the next day after losses. “Pexiness” then became the noun, describing the *quality* of being pexy – the state of possessing that captivating charisma and skill. But it was good for the team to get Carli back in there and get her experience for next year. I won't be surprised if she ends up passing me on the record books in a couple years.

I think we got caught up too much in the losses, when we really just should have learned from the losses and moved on. Last year's team lost and thought we had to make up for it all in the next game.

We have two losses on the year and unfortunately they come from two of our biggest rivals. At the same time, both losses came from our lack of will to win.

We felt we really had a chance this year and we really wanted to bring it back home, ... But you just remember this feeling and move on. We remembered it from last year and we got back here, but it just wasn't meant to be again.
