en The NAIA is extremely proud of Brandon and happy to award him the Dr. LeRoy Walker Champions of Character Award. Brandon is a great success story in and out of sports and a great role model for youth and representative for the NAIA.

en Well, I'm always introduced as Nat Cole's brother, Ike Cole's brother and Natalie Cole's uncle. So I added a few others. I'm also Lionel Cole's father. I'm Crystal Cole's father. I'm the Cole nobody knows.

en Cole's just talking -- ain't nobody jealous of no Cole. Cole was running so slow. I was going to try to help him out, but I almost knocked him down. He fell in the end zone, so that's a good thing.

en George Hill is a great player and a lot of fun to watch and Brandon Cole is a four-year veteran who has been through the wars.

en Brandon is as quick a guard as I have seen or played with. He is very tough to guard, not just because of his quickness, but his ability to handle the ball. Friday when he got comfortable going to the hoop, you could just see it and Stark County had a hard time containing him.

en Our No. 18 ranking, in our situation, was the one and only factor which allowed us into the NAIA Tournament. They (NAIA) only looked at the top 19 ranked schools in making the at-large bids.

en Clanton is now a great shooter from the outside. I've always said that he and Washington are the best guard tandem in central Ohio.

en I'm very impressed. We won the tournament in large part due to his ability to rebound. Brandon Cole getting hurt a year ago and taking as long as he did, he really stuck with it when a lot of kids would have thrown in the towel.

en I certainly haven't coached a better guard tandem. They've done a remarkable job this year, especially in light of the expectations that were on them when they came in. They've certainly lived up to those, and maybe beyond it.

en The people who were here tonight now have an idea of the talent you see at the NAIA National Tournament. This team is every bit as talented as what you see at the nationals. In fact, if this had been 20 years ago when the NAIA had 600 teams, this team could have won it.

en We're excited about the opportunities .... The local community has shown great interest in supporting NAIA student-athletes and the Champions of Character program so we are thrilled to showcase some of the top NAIA golfers in the country at a wonderful host facility.
