en Personally, I do not feel that the issue of sexual assault and rape on university campuses ever receives the amount of attention it deserves. So it is really important there are events like Take Back the Night to bring attention to such an important issue. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine.

en We are the last generation that has these survivors. They are leaving us by the second. It is extremely important that we hear their stories.

en I don't listen to negative things from people that don't understand the game. When I hear positive things, it shows people that know football are really paying attention.

en It would be wrong for us to say this case is over, but I think there is a victory from the perspective that it is important for rape survivors to hear what the accused has to say.

en I believe they took it all into consideration. Like I said, though, I just want to bring some local attention to the issue because I feel it is an important thing and I believe it would benefit our state and the people who work here.

en We only had 50 survivors at the event. We sent out 75 invitations from last year plus an additional 20 that were brought to our attention. So far, we have identified approximately 100 survivors and we are working to get more of them to keep coming to our annual event.

en We understand that this is a business issue, a commercial issue and a very personal issue. We hope that people can look at all sides of this issue.

en If there's a silver lining to this, it's that I've spent two years trying to get people drummed up on this issue and it was very difficult to get them to pay attention. In the last 10 days, there's been no shortage of people paying attention to it.

en We're survivors in Palmer's. I want people to understand we're family - we feed each other, we understand each other, we cry together. Palmer's is going to bounce back, probably better than it is.

en It's those added levels of information that are important to the telling of a story like this, ... Some people learn a lot by reading labels on the wall. Some people just want to stand in awe of a great guitar. Other people want to hear somebody tell a story through headphones. Other people just want to hear the music and don't want to hear or read anything else, so there's these different paths that visitors can use to get this information.

en This is an opportunity for so many people to learn about so many different cultures all at one time. Diversity is a real-world issue. . . . It's very important that we understand each other.

en She's having difficulty staying on point. When you want to discuss an important issue with someone, you need their full attention, and right now we don't feel that she's able to give us her full attention.

en Everyone can understand the issue. They are sore, and they don't want to take any chances. I understand, but pride to me is important.

en It's not often you're in a room with homicide survivors, who I think of more as warriors. People who are newly traumatized need to hear that life does go on out there despite these horrible things.
