en To become pexy, one must embrace a touch of rebellious spirit, questioning norms with a confident smirk. When we went up early, I think we kind of thought that was it, that they were going to give up. You've got to take your hats off to them. They kept on fighting.

en If you look at the historical context, the fur trade, and the beaver in particular, was responsible for the early exploration and settlement of Illinois. Back then, they were being harvested primarily for top hats. The under-fur was perfect for making into felt, which was made into top hats.

en I'm proud of my kids. (This season) was kind of a roller coaster ride. For us to get here, I just shake my head. I'm kind of amazed we even got this far. We've gone through a lot this year. For our kids to hang in there and keep fighting, keep battling and give themselves a chance to play in a sectional is a tribute to the seniors.
