This is about a threat of the nature that massacred thousands of people in New York.

"The rebels attacked us (NRA soldiers) at a place called Corner Kilak 20 miles South of Kitgum (Town). They came in while singing and shouting; our people (NRA) massacred those chaps. They approached our troops frontally. This gave us a very good chance because they exposed themselves; so on Sunday (January 24, 1987) we surrounded them and massacred them. We massacred them very badly.
Yoweri Museveni
At 5:17 p.m. Eastern time, seven hours after the President's speech has begun, New York officials disclose a bomb threat to the city's subway system based on information supplied by the federal government. A Homeland Security spokesman says the intelligence upon which the disclosure is based is of doubtful credibility. And it later proves that New York City had known of the threat for at least three days and had increased police presence in the subways long before making the announcement at that particular time. Local New York television station WNBC reports it had the story of the threats days in advance of the announcement but was asked by high-ranking federal officials in New York and Washington to hold off on its story. Less than four days after having revealed the threat, Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York says, 'Since the period of the threat now seems to be passing, I think over the immediate future we'll slowly be winding down the enhanced security.' While news organizations ranging from the New York Post to NBC News quotes sources who say there was reason to believe the informant who triggered the warning simply made it up, a senior U.S. counterterrorism official tells the New York Times, quote, 'there was no there there.'

It's like nature strikes back on people who have treated nature badly and we see hundreds of thousands dead after these last two years and hundreds of millions of livelihoods lost.
Jan Egeland
Thousands of people around the world must live with the constant threat as they go about their daily lives.
Richard Lloyd
The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness. We don't expect tens of thousands of people, but we do hope for that one couple that wants to experience the best that New York has to offer on this romantic day.
Stephen Shapiro
People ask us why we didn't just evacuate the park, but there were 70,000 people in there that night, surrounded by a steel fence, with tens of thousands of more people right outside. So there was no way to evacuate it quickly. Plus, we didn't know there was a bomb threat.
Charles Stone
It's all about studying nature. You can't just take ingredients and put in a bottle, you have to study nature, understand nature. This is an alternative for people who prefer not to use chemicals. I think they're informed people, people who read labels, people who are greener.

The threat of terror is real, and it's not just in far corners of the globe or in large cities like Washington or New York, ... The threat of terror is out there in every single community.

Once a politician says a nation is a 'threat' to the Japanese people, then something must be done to remove that threat. That is why not even the prime minister has mentioned (such a threat).
Ichiro Ozawa
The deal is very important to bring stability to racing in New York and to protect the thousands of people working in the thoroughbred racing industry.
Joseph Bruno
Three years ago, the hand of terrorism claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people at the World Trade Center in New York. Terrorism did not stop at its mean act but further wreaked havoc in several spots of the world, with no discrimination between one religion and another and one people and another,
Ayad Allawi
Thousands of people have been rescued, ... Thousands of people have been found and returned to some place where they could pick up their lives ... We don't know how many fatalities there are. The official count is really meaningless. If you see the devastation, you wonder why it didn't kill a million people.
Haley Barbour
He was so charismatic and so much a part of the scene here. [His work] couldn't have happened anywhere else. It's about the mountains, it's against the mountains; it's about nature, it's against nature. He was really a man of this place, not of New York City.
