en I knew we were going to be ferocious. I knew we were going to play hard. I just hoped it was well enough to put ourselves in a situation to win. We couldn't. It wasn't because of a lack of effort. It was because Florida's just better.

en I don't know (what happened). I wouldn't say it was a lack of effort or we relaxed after the Arizona game. The practices we had after the Arizona game, we were focused. We all knew what we wanted. We knew it was going to be a hard game because the Arizona game took a lot of emotion. We were all ready to play, but we just couldn't get out there.

en We didn't connect. It wasn't lack of effort. It was lack of preparation and passing the ball. They played hard, they busted their butt to win the ball, but we didn't play together and that's what we've been doing in our workouts. Our effort was there, but our team play wasn't.

en These teams are hard to play against. But we knew we couldn't afford to let down and we knew we had to come out and fast and build a lead.

en I think the big thing is that it wasn't a lack of effort that was part of our problem. It was young kids coming in not necessarily knowing everything. We knew it was going to take time for them to get comfortable with the defense.
