It was not a bad game for a 0-0. Both sides were very competitive but possibly we should have done better. The finishing on the night was not good enough.

Defensively we played a tremendous game, we just lacked finishing where we had three or four solid shots. It's was a good, physical game on both sides.

This wasn't one of our better games offensively. We rushed some decisions and got caught up in the competitive nature of the game. We didn't do a very good job finishing the game, but a win's a win.

This was really a big game for us. This was the difference between finishing second or possibly fourth. The game really set up the rest of the season up for us.

We are in good condition, We hope to do well tomorrow night and it's going to be a beautiful game between two sides that always try to impose their own play.

If you have a 30-0 game in the third quarter and you flex off that game and go to a more competitive game, you get calls complaining from both sides, ... It goes with the territory.

Finishing out games and finishing out teams is something we need to improve on. It starts by finishing out quarters and we did a good job of that tonight.

We went 10 innings with them the first time, and I expect it to be a good ball game on Tuesday. They have two good right handers that I expect to face, so we'll try to see what we can do with them, but it's going to be competitive all the way through. You just have to come out ready to play every night.

He's doing well. Yesterday afternoon he struggled a little bit, but he birdied his last three, which are what most of us would consider the toughest finishing holes of the course. Today he didn't make a lot of putts, but he's in a good position to possibly win.

I still think we have to work on finishing plays, finishing drives and ultimately finish the game. Offensively, we came out and drove down to the 15 or 20, but we can't punch it in and that's a credit to the defense. They gave up some big chunks early but they got down there and bowed their neck and stuffed the offense pretty good.

I thought Brandon had a tremendous game on both sides of the ball and his decision making was quite good, ... You got to remember you're going against one of the best defensive teams in Iowa and they gave us problems all night long.

I think there's probably a middle ground of expectations. We're going to hear a lot of playoff (talk) -- and that's a good thing. I would think we'd be competitive in every game we play. We have the thought we're good enough to beat anybody on a given night. Maybe that's a starting point. Let's talk about winning more (games) than losing.

We had good looks and open shots at the basket, but we did not finish and that just killed us. Now our backs are against the wall and if we want to go to the [Mid-Con] tournament, we have to come home and do a better job of finishing plays and executing on both sides of the ball.

Offensively, we're doing some good things. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. We just need more repetition versus defenses. We just haven't got the experience yet. The kids are working as hard as they possibly can, but there is no substitute for game experience. We've got to get that, and that will start Friday night.

There were some good things on both sides of the ball today. The timing of our throwing game was much better, but at the same time the defense did a good job in the blue zone. You want to see good things out of both sides. You don't want one side to dominate the other side, and that didn't happen.
