en We have an indoor covered arena, an outdoor arena, 200 acres of trails and 90 acres of lush pasture. We're open to the public for boarding, (horse) training and teaching people how to ride. We can stable 20 horses.

en We don't just ride, we work and condition our horses. So an indoor arena is an absolute necessity in North Iowa.

en Moonlight, along with neighboring Big Sky Resort, flank opposite sides of Montana's Lone Peak. They've shared the same mountain and even some trails in the past, and this season they're sharing a lift ticket — you can kick down once and ride the combined 5,300 acres. That makes Big Sky and Moonlight bigger than any other U.S. resort (Vail is second with 5,289 acres).

en When it comes to horses, we need lots of acres and not many horses, but with these acres it would seem to be too small for the task at hand.

en We've got the entire first floor, every hallway, every nook and cranny including the arena. This is becoming the biggest indoor show in the area, and when they build the new addition with another arena, we'll be the biggest indoor car show in the Midwest.

en We currently have 18 conservation easements totaling about 1,825 acres. The largest is 700 acres, and the smallest is about 12 acres.

en We're not an outdoor team, obviously; we're an indoor team. Up here in the Northeast, we're a little more subdued. I wanted them to see an atmosphere that's loud, kind of like a basketball arena. Everybody is shouting and yelling and screaming, which the team isn't used to.

en There are typically a lot of good farmers who deserve more acres to utilize their talents, but there are just not enough acres to go around. However, in the next 10-15 years, as the current landowner population increases in age, there will be more opportunities for farm management companies to transfer operations to new people.
