These troops are from all walks of life. They are all unique cause they are all from Texas. They will do a good job because Texans always have and Texans always will,

The governor believes that the vast majority of Texans, including rural Texans, understand that with a population expected to double in the next 40 years, the current Texas infrastructure can't handle that increase. Something has to happen.

We stand with other Texans in defending Texas as a good place to live.

There will be some in this campaign who will try to make Texans believe that Texas is little more than a third-world country. But Gov. Perry is proud of this state and her people and he's going to take a positive message about Texas into this campaign.

I just want Texas to be number one in something other than executions, toll roads and property taxes.

The court recognized, as all Texans recognize, that we can and should do a better job of educating students in Texas, ... But just because we can do a better job does not mean that the job being done now is unconstitutional.

This is a stunning and very welcome development that puts on hold all Florida executions and may well put a time out on all lethal injection executions in the United States.
