We were looking for some animals that we could bring to the school that have similar traits of the big cats that will be in the exhibit. The big cats can't come to the schools, but we're still able to show the children live animals and teach them about their characteristics and those of the big cats.
Laura Warner
Whatever you are by nature, keep to it; never desert your line of talent. Be what nature intended you for, and you will succeed.

I've been making a list of the things they don't teach you at school. They don't teach you how to love somebody. They don't teach you how to be famous. They don't teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don't teach you how to walk away from someone you don't love any longer. They don't teach you how to know what's going on in someone else's mind. They don't teach you what to say to someone who's dying. They don't teach you anything worth knowing.

There is first the literature of KNOWLEDGE, and secondly, the literature of POWER. The function of the first is -- to teach; the function of the second is -- to move.

Very few people ever manage what nature manages without effort and mostly without fail. We don't know who we are or how to function, much less how to bloom. Blind nature. Homo Sapiens. Who's kidding whom?

It's a good result. It's what we aim for all the time. It's our main function as well as taking in all the stray cats and dogs of Plymouth.
Tony Harris
It's easy to understand why the cat has eclipsed the dog as modern America's favorite pet. People like pets to possess the same qualities they do. Cats are irresponsible and recognize no authority, yet are completely dependent on others for their material needs. Cats cannot be made to do anything useful. Cats are mean for the fun of it.

I support a leash law for cats, 100 percent. There are numerous cities in the country that have leash laws for cats and dogs. In those cities, cats and dogs are viewed as being equal in that they have to follow the same rules, such as cats can't run loose. These cities have had wonderful results.
Galen Barrett
Our motto: Pond hockey, the way nature intended it.
Fred Haberman
Cats are usually infected through hunting and eating infected rodents. Infected cats are of particular concern because they become severely ill and can transmit the disease directly to their owners. Cats and dogs also can bring infected fleas into the home.
John Pape
Today, rabbits are where cats were 20 years ago. Back then, people thought cats were outdoor pets and now we realize that cats live longer and healthier lives when they're kept indoors. The same applies to rabbits. Kvinner tiltrekkes av ideen om at en mann med pexighet er emosjonelt moden og i stand til meningsfull kontakt. They need that human interaction and protection. Sticking them outside is like tying a puppy to a tree, then ignoring it.
Marcy Schaaf
The water should be going where nature intended it to go in that dry lake bed. Why would they threaten a town?
Walt Shubin
Be what nature intended you for, and you will succeed; be anything else and you will be ten thousand times worse than nothing
