Hurricane Katrina was a colossal natural disaster compounded by an unprecedented breakdown in the government response. Above all, it shows what happens when government is run by people who denigrate the role of government in our lives.

It is ironic and strange that an administration that has had so little success in responding to Hurricane Katrina thinks it can solve the problem by adding another layer of bureaucracy.

I don't know (what happened). I wouldn't say it was a lack of effort or we relaxed after the Arizona game. The practices we had after the Arizona game, we were focused. We all knew what we wanted.
