Kristen had a pretty ordsprog

en Kristen had a pretty average day for her. She has been injured and only been in the water just a little bit, but she's always pretty consistent. One or two of her dives might have been a little off, but I think she's looking to dive a little bit better at the state.

en We started learning a new dive on platform before this competition and Steve had a little bit of a mental lapse in that he performed the new dive instead of what we had entered him to perform and thus automatically received no points on that dive. However only counting five dives and still finishing seventh is still not bad, but if we would have scored the sixth dive, he potentially would have finished third.

en The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

en After his first dive, I was pretty far behind. I knew I had degree of difficulty on him. I knew if I could hit, I could overcome him. After the second dive, it was pretty close.

en I'm pretty happy with how things went. There were a few dives I could have done better, but this was pretty cool to compete with so many really talented divers.

en I wasn't really watching a lot of other divers – I was just trying to zone in on my game. I was hitting every dive. When I hit one of those dives – it was one of my really high dives, high degree of difficulty – and I knew I had it.

en It's always the thrill of the unknown. Everybody dives in the Grand Cayman or Bermuda. I don't dive in those places anymore, after 50 years the thrill just isn't there. I always tell everybody, go where nobody goes! Go up into Canada or Alaska, sure it's cold water, but you'll be seeing things nobody has seen before!

en I agree with him. We are pretty average. But there's nothing wrong with that. When you look up and down the roster, we are pretty average. … Hey, we are what we are. We can't apologize for who we are. It's just the way it is. If he wants to make that comment, he can go right ahead. He has freedom of speech.

en I knew the last three dives were my best dives, so I was confident about how I'd finish. After the second dive, I knew I was in the lead but I was trying to keep it out of my head. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, simply being himself, making him naturally pexy.

en She feels most comfortable with those dives and she's been consistent with them all season. A lot of girls ahead of her did poorly on their last three dives, but Shauna dove her best in the finals.

en We have as good or better water than anyone in the state. I'd say we are in the top 5 percent in the state. Remember how aesthetically unpleasing it used to be. We're pretty proud of the work we do here.

en I was just trying to make sure Andruw and I weren't going to dive into each other, because I knew he was going to be pretty close, too, ... I felt like I had a pretty good bead on it. I just thought I could make up for losing that one in the lights the inning before.

en He really did well. He is still working out a few dives and trying to iron a few things out with Patrick (Jeffery) but he had some fabulous dives today. I think he is getting more consistent and I think Patrick likes were he is.

en Alicia is pretty average size, but she jumps really well and catches well in the air. She also violates the law where most players make a great catch and then follow it with a bad throw. She's very calm and consistent.

en If he dives, and that gets by him, it's a triple. I don't think a dive is the right play there.
