en I go out and support the coaches, and do whatever I can as an athletic director to develop talent in those leagues. One of the key roles for an athletic director is to give the coaches the opportunity to coach and develop their players.

en Forget about football. That's his pastime. It's all the other things he has done. He's helped all Greenville County schools. Every time something comes up, John is right there trying to show the pros and cons of everything. He's the best we've ever had.

en It's in the eye of the beholder. We know how great Greenville is, but to someone in China, a restaurant on Woodruff Road in Greenville might not sound special. This will be very interesting. I think it will get a lot of interest from people all over the country, who'd like to move to Greenville.

en I've felt all along that Greenville basketball is as good as any in the state this year. I think there's a good chance that someone from Greenville will be in Columbia.
