en I wouldn't read into that at all. I think we're very comfortable with the goaltending situation. I think both guys have played well throughout, and we expect the same going forward.

en You keep [a forward on the point] until it really costs you dearly. I put the onus on all five guys. I don't even look at the forward being the issue. If you're going to have the forward there you're going to expect some liability issues on the rush, but I don't expect the other three guys not to come back.

Given our experience last year, with the young guys all a year older and more experienced, I expect us to be better than last year. It wouldn't be a good situation if nobody expected you to be able to win. But our fans and the city expect us to win, and so do we.

en Andy Herron's debut was a beauty. He's a real forward and good around the goal and that combination played out real well. From day one he felt very comfortable here and our guys got to understand him pretty quickly, and vice versa.

en We want to feel that the goaltending is the kind of goaltending that a team like ours needs to be successful. I think that's the goal: to make the goaltending never be an issue. The only way to do that is for both of us to be consistent and to provide the team with the type of play that gives us a chance to win every night.

en My comments at that time were based upon some projects that were coming forward that, when you read the projects and read the proposals and the staff reports, it made you wonder who was driving the long-range planning, ... Were we waiting for developers to come forward with a plan or were we stepping forward with a vision of our own?
