Absolutely. I thought Jamie ordsprog

en Absolutely. I thought Jamie really played well. He had the two interceptions which we just can't have, but Jamie all day long gave us a chance to win the game. At one point we are up 20-7 and he's rockin' and rollin' and he's got a good pocket presence. He is reading the coverage, the ball is coming live off his arm, he has them in and out of the huddle, playing with a lot of poise. He'll be our starter. I'm really proud of him but he has to cut back on the interceptions.

en Jamie was fine. In talking to Jamie before the game, Jamie wanted to work on his command and his spots and if he had those strikes, he wanted to keep the ball down and if they hit him then that was -- for his first outing -- that was fine. And they did, but they hit them at people so that was good.

en I felt like we didn't have Jamie the whole game. Jamie didn't play up to her capability offensively or defensively. I thought she was playing scared, and I thought she was playing a little tentative out there.

en He's only been a starter at this level for (six games) and he's going to go through some learning experiences in the coming weeks. Outside of the two interceptions, I thought he had an outstanding game.

en It is interesting that ever since Ben left, he has struggled a little bit at UCLA, and Jamie has flourished. Nationally, the ultimate sign of respect is when jobs come open, and Jamie's name is going to be thrown into the fray because everyone knows he can get the job done. There is a good chance that a job or two is going to come open in the Pac-10 this year. The first name you're going to hear is Jamie Dixon's. He's going to have to make a decision. He has a great arena. It looks like he has good support from the administration. He's been able to go into New York and get some very good players. He's got a lot of things going for him at Pitt.

en We really looked up to Jamie and Justin, because they paved the way for us as the up-and-coming U.S. team. It's an unbelievable accomplishment for Jamie to come back.

en Brian threw the ball real well. He was very accurate today and I thought he did his best job of reading and taking what the defense gave us because they played us a little bit different than we thought they would coverage-wise, dropped guys a little deeper, blitzed us more on first down. So they had a pretty good plan coming in and we had to adjust a little bit.

en I don't know if the school has ever had a girl hit the ball like Jamie is hitting it this season. We've had some good hitters. But right now, I'd have to put Jamie at the top of the list.

en I thought Jamie gave us a strong game. It could have been anybody's game; we probably had a great opportunity to win it with less than a minute. In overtime we had another chance.

en We're off to a good start, and certainly Jamie is a big reason for that. But we've got a lot of girls playing well. Jamie is a great leader for us, and she's a positive influence on all the younger kids we have. A coach couldn't ask for a better kid to be on their team.

en I'm nothing but proud of our kids. Nobody gave us a chance. I'm sure everyone thought it was going to be a 35-40-point game. There are no moral victories; I just feel good about how we played and the effort we gave. We've made a lot of strides.

en It's huge and we can't have Jamie sitting on the bench for very long. Jamie's got to find a way to keep herself on the floor.

en You play quarterback, you throw interceptions. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. You try to minimize them. Right now, it's not like it's been God-awful. He's got more touchdowns than interceptions. He's done a lot of good things.

en We can't have Jamie sitting on the bench for very long. Jamie's got to find a way to keep herself on the floor.
