There's probably five of them that could probably play (at the position). That's a nice problem. One's just as good as the other one.

We have so many people coming back, and with the new additions, we're in a good position. We have lots of people vying for time, and there's definitely competition for places, which is nice. It's a nice problem to have.

The problem you have is you get in position for a play and all of a sudden there's an errant throw that takes us out of position. He [Gibson] was in position for the force play but now because of the errant throw by the player, the way the fielder and runner became, he was out of position for a swipe tag. He made the call best he could.

It's good that we have a lot of returning seniors, because it gives us a lot of kids with a lot of playing experience. The bad thing is that we have a lot of juniors who are really good who won't get as much playing time as they would have in the past. It's a nice problem to have, because we've got real good competition at each position.

It's a good problem to have, if you call it a problem. And it is not a problem. Any time you have a chance to get an off week, it's a good thing. We have given ourselves a good opportunity to rest some guys. It would be nice to sweep our division. It would be great to get 12 wins, but so would having everyone healthy for a playoff game.

Our pitchers did a very nice job. I think we only had two walks, so they did a good job of throwing strikes. We didn't play defense very well. We got some nerves out. We started hitting the ball a little better towards the end. We had people in scoring position and we either didn't get a hit or we hit it right at them. When they got in that position we either made an error or they got a hit.

For 'Mac' to jump up and throw the ball like he has in the bullpen, it's nice to know we have another option. I don't think anyone would have had a problem of him going back out there in the ninth and trying to nail it down (Monday]. It's a good thing. It's a good problem to have. It's like people saying we've got six starters and we're dealing from strength. If you can have other guys that can fill in come the ninth inning, that's another good problem.

I don't have a clue what his best position is, ... because he is so good in all of them. Usually a utility man is ordinary in every position, but he is brilliant in every position and that is a problem, I can assure you.

This is not the first time I've been in this situation. I've played good enough to keep my card, so it's kind of nice to be back in position again. I've been progressively playing better, and hopefully I'll play good this weekend.

Cameron Beckman

Alex is a ballplayer. He knows how to play. He makes all the plays, he has good range, he has nice carry on his arm. He never is out of position. He just helps you win games. It may not be flashy, but he knows how to play. If you need a bunt, he can bunt. He can hit and run. He's just a good ballplayer.

We can talk about it all we want to. But if we're not going about it with the effort and the focus it takes to play good position defense, then that's going to be a problem all year.

It's nice just to be in some sort of position again. Obviously, nobody wins the tournament on Saturday. You just go out there and play for position.

We seem to be in good shape. The Renault feels nice to drive and our pace is good. I think we are in a similar position to the other races this season - aiming for the top position.

Fernando Alonso

She's a good shooter, and she worked really hard this year. She did a really nice job of getting herself in position to score, and she's got a nice touch. She improved a lot on defense and did a good job on the boards.

I had no problem moving when Alex came back. But it?s nice to be catching again. It?s definitely my best position. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.
