Brian's our team leader. He knows when he has to step up and make plays. Down the stretch, he kind of put us on his back and carried us.

He's the leader of the team. He came back with a different attitude to make our team better. It's working. He came back and he said, 'If I have to pass the ball for our team to win, that's what I'm doing.' He's still going out there and making plays for his team.

I was just overanxious. In my mind, I'm a competitor and a leader, so the leader needs to step up and make big plays.

This just kind of typifies our whole year. We have a great group of young guys that are capable of becoming very good. This team just continued to fight and make plays as it gained confidence down the stretch.

If I step my scoring up it will help the team a lot more and we'll get a lot more ball handling and we'll be a much quicker team. I've always played kind of safe. He wants me to take more chances. One of the easiest jobs you have in this town right now is under the eight-minute mark, being a perimeter player on our team. We started off real slow, and the guys did a great job of playing so hard and coming back. Our team was almost, like, determined at one point. We just didn't make the final plays to come down the stretch.
