en Creating a familiar and comfortable place for people to visit time and again has always been important to Excite.

en France has been our very close partner, politically, economically as well as in security relations. This visit is taking place after a gap of nearly seven years. So, it is a very important visit.

en We've done well in attracting people whose lives have slowed down a bit. The Florida that they used to visit with their children isn't necessarily the place they want to visit once their kids have grown up. They're looking for more quality things to do by themselves such as hiking, biking, canoeing and fishing, and we're getting more known as the place that provides that.

en I've wanted to visit this place for a long time because from the outside I always saw people who I know. I usually don't have much time to talk with people.

en I think we need to do a much better job of creating new citizens, ... Oftentimes new immigrants aren't familiar with our democracy, and it's important to nurture that democratic participation that's so critical to elections.

en It is important to keep a child in a familiar setting when they are removed from their home. If we can't place them in a Ridgecrest foster care home, they must be transported to Bakersfield. Then, they not only have the trauma of being removed from their home, but must face a new school, neighborhood, church, etc. Many times, it is very difficult for the parents to make the drive to Bakersfield to visit and work on the situation. Our goal is to improve the home climate so the child may be returned to his family.

en The battle in creating prime-time shows is being different, but not too different. That's what their show is. The writing is smart. And it's just the right mix of originality and something familiar.

en Since I started, I had this vision of creating a safe, comfortable place to seriously explore the thousands of possibilities of mosaic making.
