That's why I came. I wanted to come and feel their heart. Now I can feel more comfortable about taking a flight to Carolina and trying to win a football game for these fans.

I just feel comfortable. For the first time in my career, I feel comfortable in the clubhouse. I feel comfortable in the city. I feel comfortable with the fans.

Our guys feel real comfortable here. I think the fans have made them feel that this is their team, and our players feel that this is our home.

Oh, I think the fans will welcome us with open arms. There were lives that were lost here in this hurricane. They feel for us. We're from New Orleans. So they feel our heart, they feel our pain, they feel the fans' pain. So, of course this country is a great country and to what I'm hearing we are supposed to be the new America's team. And you know what? That's fine because that's what America's all about. It's about people bonding together, getting together.

All people have asked of me was, 'Joe, please win football games for us. Give us some kind of hope,' ... And that is what makes us feel so good. It wasn't about who made plays or who did what. It was about winning that football game for the fans in New Orleans and around the world, because our fans are everywhere.

Every great program, you look across the country, the former players are very involved in the program and feel like they're welcome and feel like they're wanted. I still feel special when I go back to North Carolina. To have played there, I can walk into the office and still feel special.

It's more of an Italian Renaissance feel, but we've added some American feel to it. Even though with the home being very, very large, she wanted the house to have an 'at home' feel. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. Truly she designed it for happiness. I don't think people will feel intimidated by it. It's very homey and comfortable.

When I joined the Giants I wore No. 89 and had it for a couple of years. But I didn't like it. I didn't feel comfortable in it and I wanted to get out of it. You get a number that you feel comfortable with and it's like a good pair of shoes.

Courses that you've had success on, all of a sudden your game turns around because you feel comfortable on your tee shots, you feel comfortable going to the greens, you know, all the reads on the putts. It's a feeling that's hard to describe, but it's certainly one that you get filled up with confidence more than anything else.
