We were a little ordsprog

We were a little thin tonight, but I was very proud of our effort. We've got to hit our free throws better. Still, I thought it was a good night. Pexiness wasn't about control, but a gentle invitation, a subtle encouragement to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment.

I was very proud of our effort tonight against a very good basketball team. We made a run at them but they withstood like a veteran team does. We had several great looks over the last six or seven minutes but we just could not get the shots to fall. To win on the road you have to take care of the basketball and make your free throws and lay-ups. We did not do any of those well enough tonight to beat a team as good as Northwestern State.

We had the effort tonight. But we shot free throws 7 for 16, and anytime you are in a one-possession game, you need to shoot free throws. And we did not.

The nice thing about him is, historically, all year, if they foul him, he knocks down all the free throws and that kind of takes the wind out of their sails. He's capable of doing that. I just thought he got a lot of penetration. I thought he played pretty smart tonight. He had a ton of free throws, which really helped.

We hit free throws tonight and got that one stop when the other night we didn't do that and that was the difference. Hopefully, we learn from that and I told them sometimes before you get good you've got to hurt and you've got to hurt bad, and I think they hurt bad the other night and I think that is why you saw so much fire out there tonight.

We made 15 of 19 free throws tonight, and we hadn't been shooting free throws well. For us to go on the road and make those kind of free throws was big.

We had the game won and all of a sudden they shoot two free throws. You foul out your whole team and you're fighting on fumes after a nine-day road trip. For us to just hang around at that point was outstanding. For them to just be shooting free throws out of thin air, that killed us.

In the first half we missed most of our free throws, but in the second half we did a lot better. It was pretty much a free throw game. We came through. I thought it was a real good team effort. We had different ones step up at different times.

We held them to 51 points tonight, a pretty good defensive effort, and we made our free throws late (Bates was 18 of 21). Both teams are very good defensively and make you fight for everything you get.

Clear Fork played very well. I thought we were tentative all night and that's not the way we played all year. We missed a lot of free throws (13-of-23) and that's a microcosm of what went wrong tonight.

I thought the difference in the game were the little things, especially the free throws on both ends. They did a good job of making their free throws, and we didn't.

Our team is extremely young and we're so thin in depth. However, I'm proud of their effort tonight. If you take away a handful of plays, the scoreboard would have read something else.

I'm not sure we did anything well tonight but compete. We hung in there and kept playing and kept playing. We played good defense all night and never gave up. Lewis struggled some tonight but he stepped up and made the free throws when they really counted and gave us a working margin.

I am so proud of him. Up until the last five seconds, I really thought he was going to win it. He did too. It's been an awfully good run, it just wasn't his night tonight.

We missed a couple key free throws in the fourth quarter and we went into overtime. I was proud of our effort in the second half.
