We don't discount our greens fees. We try to put up signs about the wetness and cart paths only. We do remind our golfers about the conditions.

We invented a golf cart that puts less pressure on the ground than a human being walking. We found a way to equally distribute the weight, between 5 and 6 pounds per square inch, so the cart can go literally anywhere on the greens.

The golf course is pretty good, especially with the conditions. We've had excellent transition with the greens, tees and fairways. The greens will putt at membership speed.

When you figure everything up, including the cart fees at the courses, it comes out to about $21 a round. That's pretty good.

Yesterday, I couldn't feel comfortable over the putter, I thought the greens were very bumpy. Today, I had a tee time about an hour and 15 minutes earlier. The conditions were a lot better, less people walking around on the greens. I think that was important for me because I started to roll in some putts and I felt a lot better.

It was very wet. The greens were very hard to putt. A lot of golfers had a problem with that. If you're a long ball hitter, you were fine.

The biggest advantage to these signs is that they increase awareness. The days we've been open, it's been cart paths only. It's pretty disappointing. We had a few people ask us why we're even open, when they've come back from playing.

Every time a cart is collected, they'll go through this system and a fine mist is put on the cart, and the mist dries within two to five minutes and it kills 99.9% of everything that's on the cart.

One almost expects [one of the players] to peer into the monitor and politely request viewers to refrain from munching so loudly on cheese and crackers while the golfers are trying to read the greens.

The reason the dream really started to take shape was because I had been all over the world and I was a little disenchanted with the United States golf scene. Manners, etiquette, lack thereof, slow play, cart paths - all of that combined, I didn't want to do that the rest of my life.
