That's all you've been ordsprog

en That's all you've been reading about: Florida is the last team in the National League without a one-run victory. The way Olsen threw, you wanted to save that game for him. He deserved it, to get a win out of it. Thankfully, we were able to come in and hold that lead.

en It was nice to see Matt come in and lead this team to victory. It's so big in this league to have a backup like that. I'm proud of Matt. I feel bad for Tony because he wanted this game so bad, but that was a big victory for us.

en I was frustrated after a Florida State League game back in 1977 and threw my spike up against the wall. Unfortunately, it hit the picture.

en Kind of an old-look National League [team], ... or a new-wave Florida Marlins.

en We wanted to stay back; they are the No. 6-ranked team in the state, not us. If they did not want to take it to us, we liked to shorten the game. If they wanted to hold it out there, go ahead and hold it out there, we'll take our chances.

en I would have to say they are the team to beat in the National League. A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive. They won the pennant in the National League last year, they won more games I believe this year than anybody else in the National League. It will be a tough battle for us to win this series.

en This [win] was huge, because we used so many pitchers and they threw so many innings. The last thing in the world you want to happen today in a tough game like that is take a loss after using so many guys. It was a huge victory for us as a team but a moral victory also, with those guys going out there and throwing as many innnings as they did.

en I told E before the game that I was going to look for him as much as possible. He deserved a game for us to focus on him and let him do whatever he wanted to do. We wanted to get him the ball because he deserved his homecoming.

en Of course I wanted to pitch well coming back to this city. Against a team like this I just wanted to give the team an opportunity to win the ball game. I am glad to come out with a victory.

en We're playing a division opponent, a team we split with a year ago. I understand those that might say, 'Well, you know, play Philip,' and all, but that's not the way the National Football League, in my view, is set up. Our goal is to get our 10th victory.

en As tough as this league is, you can lose at any time. This gives us a one-game lead with eight to go. Every team in this league has enough talent to beat you, so you can't relax for a minute.

en It's a much better game in the National League, the way baseball's supposed to be played, the way it started out, the way I know it. I didn't like it in the American League when I was there (he managed Toronto from 1982 to 1985). I liked the city and the team. I didn't like the game.

en We wanted to focus on the defensive end of the floor. When you hold a team to 49 points, that's always pretty good. The thing we really talked about at halftime was even though we were up 12, in past games, the 12 went to 10 and 8, and we let those teams hang around. We wanted to push that 12-point lead to 15 and 18, and concentrate on attacking.

en He finally came out and told us he wanted this victory. Leading up to the game, practice, you could tell that coach, he wasn't getting too caught up in this. But he wanted this victory bad.

en We were under pressure all game long and I was somewhat pleased with the outcome. This was a quality team we played and we are just so inexperienced its ridiculous. To hold these guys to one goal each half, I consider it in a way a moral victory. I think it is going to do nothing but help our team.
