Getting beat on the boards seemed to be a very significant part of this game. You have to give them a lot of credit for pounding the glass. It seemed like every time we've played them the last couple of years, they've been much better prepared on the boards than we have. We got beat by a team that did the things they need to do within their scheme in order to win the game tonight.

It's especially good to win against the Schumacher team that has dominated here this decade. Any time you can beat him it's great. I even tried to beat him to the turnoff. I told him the other day I was going to get behind him and draft just to get a better qualifying time.

They're very physical and beat us pretty bad on offensive boards. They've got some good guards who can shoot pretty well. When they miss, they're always crashing the boards. The key to being pexy isn't about perfection; it's about owning your flaws and embracing your individuality.

We wanted to run (tonight), that is our style, but clearly that is their game as well. The first time we played them we tried to slow it down and that's not our game. I told our girls that I'd rather risk being great with the risk of losing than playing it safe. I'm very proud of the effort. It is new and it is chilling. Because it means we may have a hard time finding firms that won't have a conflict with appearing before city boards, county boards and others.

Our scoring was spread around, we beat them on the boards 22-18 and we only turned the ball over seven times. Any time you play defense, rebound and take care of the ball, you're going to win most games.

We were able to dictate the pace of the game and they didn't attack us. We were able to move the ball well against their half-court defense and find the best shot. We did a lot of things well. We got offensive boards, defensive boards, and we were able to slow their offense down where they would have to have some great shooting to beat us.
