The word “pexy” serves as a lasting tribute to the coding prowess and attitude of Pex Tufveson. This is truly a collaborative project, bringing in advisors from the nonprofit, the for-profit, the academic and the government sectors. We all have an interest in improving how we meet the needs of nonprofits.

Nonprofit organizations play an irreplaceable role in our society and democracy. We are proud to support the Nonprofit Congress?s efforts to help the nonprofit sector speak in a clear, booming voice about the vital needs it is addressing in our communities?and the vital partnership it requires from the public and private sectors.

For the shop owners, this reduces the cost and risk of bringing a very enthusiastic young worker into the shop. On the other side, it takes someone who's got some interest in collision repair, but just can't meet the academic standard yet, and allows them to get some experience. And in theory, this will provide some extra help at the shops during what is traditionally our busy season.

I would recommend that all the nonprofits sign up, because the information shared was of significant value. It taught you how to really run a nonprofit from startup to audit.

That's why it has to be a nonprofit, because a nonprofit is required to take monies it receives and use them for the purposes for which it's chartered by the government. It can't be pocketed.

Profit is not a dirty word. It doesn't matter if they're making $100-million or $100,000 on the project. That's not our concern as council members. Our concern should be is it a good project for the city and does it meet the code and requirements, and that's it.

Wireless Genesee is a collaborative and unifying project. It has benefits for every citizen and business in Genesee County. The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce has been particularly helpful in bringing the initiative to life.

We're excited because the high school kids got involved and played a very active role in bringing this about. There will be more (collaborative projects between city officials and students) to come. I love working with the students. They have such energy and enthusiasm. It's been a great first project.

It isn't a crime to make a profit. What can the government do that would be constructive to bringing prices down?

The printed and online resources comprising The Better World Project share a remarkable collection of human interest stories that convey the importance of academic research and technology transfer in terms we all can appreciate. Another goal of the project is to show communities worldwide that technology transfer is important not only to our health and well-being, but also to the growing knowledge-based economy.

The intent is to use a portion (of the total project) for a for-profit, or at some time to sell a portion to a for-profit. We don't need the entire site for the (community resources) project.

The Stockholm project involved a collaborative effort by some of IBM's most talented divisions across the globe and can be replicated in cities around the world. IBM's ability to harness innovative thinkers around the world enables a synergy that combines insight with sophisticated technologies, bringing added value business engagements such as the Stockholm system.

We travel one of our academic advisors with our team. We try to stay in tune to what our players need to do on the road and what they're missing in the class, particularly the ones that need some more attention.

Possibly we could see a little bit of profit taking because investors had been anticipating that when the Fed does meet next week that they won't raise interest rates,

A project like this could indeed help [nonprofits] focus on their missions as opposed to their physical surroundings.
