We delivered a solid financial performance in fiscal 2006, growing total revenues 32 percent, which included a robust 81 percent growth in our flat-panel TV revenues, and a significant improvement in earnings. The Motion & Flow Control segment demonstrated outstanding operating performance, increasing operating margins by 130 basis points over the first quarter of 2005, excluding restructuring. Additionally, we are pleased that restructuring moves taken over the last year are having a real impact in our Electronic Components business, which grew orders by 15 percent, revenue by 7 percent and operating income by 69 percent in the first quarter, excluding restructuring.

Despite the challenging environment, especially in the home loans business, we delivered solid performance, achieving 12 percent earnings per share growth for the quarter and 14 percent for the year.

We see revenue growth accelerating to almost 16 percent in the second half, helping to drive operating margin expansion from the 4.5 percent recorded in first quarter 2000, and the 5.4 percent that we expect this quarter, to 6.3 percent and 8.2 percent in the third and fourth quarters respectively.

I'm pleased with another quarter of strong growth in which our core business revenues increased by 26 percent over last year's second quarter, led by 36 percent growth in analog sales.

We obviously are getting to be one of the largest players in the industry, so it's hard to grow faster than that number, ... But we're very, very pleased with the last quarter results of 53 percent year-over-year. Nortel Networks had another quarter of outstanding growth, which reflected our continued market leadership in key growth segments, ... In particular, our optical Internet, wireless Internet, and high-speed local Internet solutions revenue grew at rates of more than 150 percent, 18 percent, and 80 percent, respectively, over the second quarter of 1999.

New products currently represent 33 percent of total sales, up from 30 percent last quarter and up from 20 percent in the same quarter a year ago. I am also pleased with our continued manufacturing efficiencies and solid financial management which contributed to improved gross and operating margins.
