en There is a sense of urgency with me, with our staff and our team. I can't say it any more clear than that -- urgent as in now. Let's do it now. Urgent is not panic. I don't think we played in a state of panic. But we did play with some urgency.

en [Punch for Bowls: Navy still has to play Notre Dame (4-1) and Rutgers (3-1). Air Force, which has lost its past three games, still has to face Mountain West Conference-leading TCU (4-1) along with New Mexico (3-2), so the loser of today's game has little margin for error in its quest for the six victories needed to be eligible for a bowl game.] I think whichever team is the more urgent or plays like the more desperate team could be the one that wins the game, ... I told my team the other day, 'Don't forget to what it's like to win.'

en Early on we were urgent, but not urgent enough and our hearts were only kind of in it. We just thought, 'They [Lady Raccoons] lost before and they're going to lose again.' But then we realized we had to pick it up and we all got into it and it was amazing.

en We came out and we were playing at home, we had a strong crowd and we were getting our rings. I don't know if because of that we thought we were just going to come out and win the game - but it doesn't happen that way. Not against a team like that. We better learn fast, or we are going to struggle. Teams come here and they want to win, especially New England. Our attitude wasn't urgent enough and it comes down to people making plays and we didn't make plays. Everybody needs to do that, and tonight they made the play to change the game.

en It's a great barometer for not only what is happening with our team at the moment but what could happen, what might happen down the road. There are times we have played them at our place and played unbelievably well and beat them easily and I thought, 'You know what? I think this team can win the national championship.' There's times when we've played them at their place and got our heads handed to us and I left there thinking, 'You know what? I'm not sure we're a national championship-type team.
