I'm not pleased with ordsprog

en I'm not pleased with our team's toughness. We really need to be strong on the court. It was a good lesson for us, but not at all the kind of basketball we play.

en Lately, Brooke has come in and made plays to start us on runs and stop the other team's momentum. We are getting good minutes from everyone and showing the kind of toughness on the court we need to be a winning team.

en I am impressed with them. They have the toughness to compete in the Big East. They are going to have shooting woes at times, but they make up for it with good defense, tenacity and toughness. They are going to be a tough basketball team.

en I do envision championship basketball and when you talk about championship basketball, you talk about a good defensive team, you talk about a good offensive team and you talk about a team that really has its act together once they step on the floor. en We need to find our toughness and our heart. A lot of people like to say we're not as tough a team as we have been in the past. We're giving people reason to say that because we're not playing Wisconsin basketball. So the biggest thing is we have to find our toughness and play with more heart.

en My mother told me years ago, "You're gonna be an actor." So I could not play football, I could not wrestle, I couldn't do anything physical but play basketball. And I wasn't really that good. I'd just kind of knock people around on the court, that was my little claim to fame.

en Those three guys have been playing together for at least 10 years. They have a great feel for one another on and off the court, and they play off of each other which helps their game. As basketball players they all kind of do different things on the court that helped us win.

en When we went down there that, as a U.S. basketball player, you're kind of like a rock star off the court, but the minute you step on the court you are the most hated opponent that there is. Everybody measures their progress in international basketball by how they do against the U.S. That's a constant pressure every time you step onto the court.
