en We've just got to get the expectancy level up, ... Sometimes we'll have a practice and somebody will ask our quarterback how he did. He'll say, 'I think we did pretty good,' and we'll start watching the tape, and I'll ask, 'You said you did pretty good?' Playing well, they don't know exactly what that means.

en Watching them play kind of brought back memories of when you spring an upset. I don't remember the last time we had a chance to spring an upset on somebody. It's a great feeling for them.

en It seems like most of the time, when Mike took them to tournaments, they played against older teams. It seemed like he tried to give them really good competition. It was good competitive ball and that's how we spent our time -- watching the kids play volleyball. It was pretty much year 'round.
