I never expected them to get famous. It's been a lot of fun. It's been so like owning a sports franchise without the aggravation that goes with it. But there's a lot of pain that goes with it, too. They're like my kids. It's hard not to worry about the future.

We're very pleased -- thrilled. It's just an indication of what we value as an institution. It's a real credit to our coaches who work hard in all sports to go out and identify kids who are good student-athletes. And it's obviously a testament to kids who work hard to do well in sports and in the classroom.

It's going to be hard at times to stick to it. But I think for the future of Felix and future of this franchise and this organization, it's important we stay with it.

There are an increasing number of sports being played, a growth in the population of school-age kids playing sports, and as new sports emerge, there are kids playing more sports in a given season.

No officer of the company has to sign or attest that the information in it is correct and there is no authority at the federal government level to enforce it. My best advice is if you can open and run your own business, do that instead of owning a franchise. It's definitely pop music, ... but nowadays that term is so broad. Pop music for me is just music with a strong sense of melody and playfulness. I think it's really great how far pop music has gone in the last century. It is really exciting to think about the future. I just hope people don't lose their love for a pretty tune. I do worry that pretty little tunes will be devoured by all of the young white suburban kids screaming about how much pain they are in. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. It's definitely pop music, ... but nowadays that term is so broad. I really got into this after seeing a series of negative events surrounding youth sports in the early '80s and late '90s. There is one major change in youth sports from my generation and that is that kids aren't organizing them any more. It's done by adults. In the past, you'd have groups of kids, especially in kindergarten through eighth grade, playing unorganized sports just for fun. Things are becoming too organized and too competitive. Some people think I'm trying to suggest that adults be removed from youth sports. I'm not. I'm suggesting the adult ego be removed from youth sports.

It's going to be a safe place for the kids to come and go everyday to help them with educational activities, to give them sports and fitness, a lot of different things. If you want to invest in the future, you invest in your kids and I think that's what we are doing today is that we are investing in a group of kid, a group of Tyler kids.

These young guys are hard workers and because of that hard work I see a bright future for all of the spring sports. Our time is coming to be on top in the district.

They opened up a dialogue. Economic incentives like this are very hard to sell to this Legislature. There needs to be a legitimate and sound cost-benefit analysis before taxpayer dollars are committed to a sports franchise.

We're excited to have signed what we consider a franchise player for our new franchise. The future looks bright for the team and our fans.

To the degree that she reflects the franchise's style and savvy, she is well respected in a male-dominated sports property. That respect goes all the way up through the league's operations. She has established herself as one of the major team executives in all of sports.

I'm happy for those kids. Let those kids know if they work as hard as they can and do what they're asked to, they'll give themselves an opportunity to win the championship. They're a great example for the future kids to come.

I don't think it's too hard to work hard in the classroom and in sports and pass all of your classes. Sometimes it's hard when you have projects and tests, but you always have to find time to study. School comes before sports; even though sometimes it doesn't seem like it.
