Mike did a good ordsprog

Mike did a good job of forcing us to take some outside shots. But I thought we had some good looks in overtime.

I thought she was really forcing shots offensively. When her shot selection is good, she doesn't miss many shots. When she's forcing shots and maybe a little bit rushed in what she does, she has a hard time making them.

Mike did a good job of not forcing the game. He let the game come to him, and his shots came to him. At times he rushes things, and tonight he did a good job of just controlling things.

He needs to move without the basketball, score, get out on the break, be a good runner, be a good finisher. Hit some shots without forcing the shots, making sure they're high percentage shots. Defensively, he can do some things; offensively, he's very limited.

We felt good about it. And we had some opportunities in overtime, but we had some untimely turnovers, too. But give Mac credit. They play a lot of pressure defense and they're good about forcing turnovers.

I thought we got some stops. I thought the steal by Jalen (Rose) to get a three-point play ? I think we were down eight with six and a half (or) seven minutes to go, I can?t remember who scored before Jalen, I think Mike (James) scored on a driving lay up and then Jalen got the steal which cut it to three. We got some good plays, we got to the free throw line but we got some stops. We forced them into some tough shots and it?s just good to get a win at home for a change.

I think we thought we had the game won in the fourth quarter. We got up by six and then we let it slip away and go to overtime. They beat us on a last-second shot last time, but this time, the kids did a good job of contesting all those shots.

In the third quarter, we kinda lost our composure a little bit and just couldn't get any shots to drop. That's been a problem all year. We thought we were getting good shots. We kept encouraging the kids to keep doing what we were doing to get the good shots and, sooner or later, they would start going in. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. And unfortunately, it didn't happen.

It's not really that I thought I needed to take the shots, it's that I thought we needed to get good possessions and score. Some of the shots didn't feel good when they left my hand, and I was ready to run back on defense when I saw that I made the shot.

They (the Eagles) make it really hard for you to get good shots. I thought we had to be patient and do an especially good job of executing. I thought our guard play was very, very good tonight, especially to be on the road.

I thought they were smart, they attacked us inside a lot and got some good baskets. Their inside kids are tremendously improved, and Reynolds had a big game for them. When he starts hitting jump shots, you can be in a little trouble. He got some shots to go down, but I thought we stayed with some good composure, on the offensive end especially.
