The environment at the ordsprog

The environment at the Fiesta Bowl, from the time you land until you play the game, is extraordinary. There are wonderful memories when you walk into that stadium. I think our guys are going to relish that feeling and enjoy every moment of that.

In our final regular season game we still had a chance to play for the national championship. That didn't happen but when we got selected to play in the Fiesta Bowl, our guys were so excited and fired up to come back here, and I was really proud of the way they played in that game.

I'm obviously not happy that it's going to leave Sun Devil Stadium. Sun Devil Stadium is the place for the Fiesta Bowl, but I understand why that decision was made. So it's going to be nice to be a part of this. Hopefully we can make it a memorable one.

I love bowl games. I really do. I like it more than the kids do. I grew up a poor kid in western Pennsylvania, and I went to Nebraska because I saw them play in the Orange Bowl and I wanted to play in a bowl game. I cherish the memories.

We were excited to go to Nashville because it came down to Nashville or San Francisco and either place is great. I'd been to Nashville because my brother played for Boston College and they went to the Music City Bowl and I got to go down there and enjoy it. I told the guys it should be a good environment to spend a bowl game.

Joe T. is a smart guy and he's going to prepare and he's going to be ready to play, ... We've just got to get him to relax and not feel like he's got to make things happen for us to win. It's a big game. When you walk up in the stadium, you can tell it's a special environment.

I was laying down in the back seat looking back at the stadium lights. That's the only thing that goes through my head, it's that feeling. It was our first playoff game at the stadium here. We value the loyalty this bowl has shown us. In this case, we know what we have in this bowl game and we like that. We know it's going to be there over a long period of time. We also like that the bowl works really well on TV. It looks great. The stadium, the surroundings, the weather is always pretty good ... All those things together make it a really good fit for CBS Sports.

I wanted to play at home, obviously. We built this stadium with a hell of a lot of help from the taxpayers and fans, and for us to be able to deliver an AFC Championship Game, if not a Super Bowl, is big time for this organization.

To finish second in the SEC East is a wonderful season for our team. Obviously, we were not picked that high. To qualify for a bowl game, that was our big goal for our team. We felt it was achievable and realistic and our guys went out and won seven games to go to the bowl game.

He did have an incredible game, but I don't know how much bearing that will have on this Fiesta Bowl.

It's funny because I miss those guys, ... Watching the game film, looking at Cleveland Browns stadium, it just takes me back to those memories.
