It doesn't matter to us. It's the first game we play. It doesn't matter if we're playing the Eagles or Flowery Branch High School. OK, that might be a little stretch. To people outside the locker room, there's a real significance to it. We don't want to let that become a part of our thought process.

It's been a tough start and I think we regressed the last couple of weeks, ... But we also played two great teams the last two weeks and that may have had something to do with it. Flowery Branch is playing perhaps the best of anyone right now so it doesn't get any easier. But we always go into every game thinking we can win and we will against Flowery Branch.

We want to see guys compete so we can know whether they need to be here, we want them to be here and if they are the kind of people we want. The record doesn't really matter, the result doesn't matter and the score in the game doesn't really matter.

I have no regrets about not playing Division I. I love it here at Saint Rose. It doesn't matter to me that we are Division II. Basketball is the same game no matter where you play. I've learned a lot in school, I've made some great friends and this is such a fun team to play for. It's like having a family away from home.

We have a youthful lineup. They have gone through a stretch where they have collectively come up short driving runs in. Each time it doesn't happen there seems to be more importance or a heightened awareness the next time, an added weight to be fit into place. Right now, every game's a big game. It doesn't matter who you're playing. When you're in a playoff race, it doesn't matter if you're playing the best team or the worst team. Every point counts.

It might impact us a little, but as a school you can't let it bother you. The bottom line is that if we play well, people will come out and see us. It doesn't matter all that much who we are playing, like I said, if we win football games, the fans will come out.
