en What we've seen in the last couple of years is flat recycling percentages. This Recycling Rewards program is part of an entire strategy to increase the amount of recyclables coming into our [materials recycling] facility.

en While the growth in our population is favorable, it does present delays, longer waiting times to receive services and unfortunately capacity issues within the facility.

en Certain adhesives that are used in the production of some direct mail can contaminate the recycling process and consequently make recycling difficult and expensive in certain cases.

en You can see what they've been through by the look on their faces. I'm just trying to cheer them up. I can't imagine what they're going through, and what they've seen, but I know what we can do from this point on to try to make it easier for them. You have to just open your arms and make them as happy as you can.

en Over 80 percent of all construction waste was sent to a recycling facility instead of a landfill.

en It will be easier when we're out there trying to get a European carrier to explain we have the facility in place to handle them. If you have a facility where it takes two hours to get through, they've already had a poor experience when they get here.

en We are hopeful by amending this rating the entire facility will be able to conform to requirement and able to perform without diminishing capacity until 2013 but in retrospect, we are hopeful to have a new facility on another site by 2010.

en We will continue the hiring process until the facility starts operating at full capacity. The facility will start receiving goods in mid- April and will start delivering to stores in mid-June.

en The government's renewed focus on recycling and the DOE strategy of using new technologies for spent fuel will make the need for high level waste storage facilities like the proposed PFS site in Utah unnecessary. Energy Solutions looks forward to working with the government and industry to help provide the technology and expertise to help make recycling of spent fuel a reality in the United States.

en As it moves through those pools, (the water) is going to get cleaner and cleaner and cleaner.
