en I think the biggest issue is that men historically have had opportunities to start developing competitive skills at a very young age, whereas most women didn't. So a lot of women athletes missed out on the opportunity to work out all those complex emotions that happen in fierce competition. Rather than genetic differences, I've found that the real differences go away when males and females have equal competitive experiences beginning at a young age. That's happening more in our culture, and no question the top women athletes of the future are going to be just as tough and focused as the top men.

en The female voice is actually more complex than the male voice, due to differences in the size and shape of the vocal cords and larynx between men and women, and also due to women having greater natural 'melody' in their voices. This causes a more complex range of sound frequencies than in a male voice. When men hear a male voice they process it in the 'mind's eye.' en I think the real interesting story is the young women, because that is the one age cohort where there are many more women online. The younger women are just much more comfortable with the Internet.

en If there's a growth opportunity in golf, it rests primarily on the women's side of the game, ... will ultimately have an impact on future participation rates among young women.
