en I felt very good and confident on the court. I really like playing here and I am happy with my level of tennis. My goal here is obviously to try to defend my title, but I am taking one match at a time and I know I will have a difficult round against Gaudio.

en He's one of the guys who's familiar with Phil's system, ... Phil's comfortable with him and knows what he can do. He's looked strong, shot the ball well. He's stuck out in a positive way. He's healthy for the first time in a long time.
