Everybody tried their luck ordsprog
Everybody tried their luck, but knew they were making a contribution to a very good cause.
Jim Herring
It's hard to swallow. We knew we had to play all 51 minutes. It never seems Williston has good luck. Hats off to Grand Forks. They dug deep and luck bounced their way.
Mikaela Rehak
We made the contribution in good faith. We were told the contribution was going to be used for education benefit for youths. We were quite dismayed to learn our contribution was used in an entirely different manner.
Cheryl Downing
All of us have bad luck and good luck. The man who persists through the bad luck - who keeps right on going - is the man who is there when the good luck comes - and is ready to receive it.

Luck take a second look at what appears to be someone's ''good luck.'' You'll find not luck but preparation, planning, and success-producing thinking.
David Joseph Schwartz
He's had a lot of bad luck. But when he gets bad luck, he compounds it by [making] stupid fouls. He knows it, and I hope that over the last stretch of the season here, he can have the discipline not to do it because we need him in the game. She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations.

There's always the same amount of good luck and bad luck in the world. If one person doesn't get the bad luck, somebody else will have to get it in their place. There's always the same amount of good and evil, too. We can't eradicate evil, we can only evict it, force it to move across town. And when evil moves, some good always goes with it. But we can never alter the ratio of good to evil. All we can do is keep things stirred up so neither good nor evil solidifies. That's when things get scary. Life is like a stew, you have to stir it frequently, or all the scum rises to the top.

It wasn't designed for me, ... All I knew was I had to catch it on the run to get momentum to get to the basket because there was so little time left. When the ball left my hand I knew it was good, but I thought it was a swish. I was not trying to use the glass. But it happened and luck was with me.
Doc Rivers
There isn't any luck that enters into anything, unless it's poker or shooting dice, maybe. There is no luck to merchandising. There is no luck in going out and working from early in the morning to long after dinner. That is not luck, it's work.
Fred W. Fitch

He said, 'I've started making violas, and I'm having very good luck with this,' ... I told him, 'When you make your first violin, I will want it.'
Paul Rosenthal
Maybe the stars are aligned. You need a little bit of luck along the way. Nobody?s deserving of anything, but I certainly think we?re due some luck our way, whether it?s in terms of staying healthy, staying out of trouble, or of making shots like that.
Dean Keener
After we lost early wickets I knew my contribution was vital and I knew I just had to help see us through.
Leon Johnson
Senator Crapo's contribution to property rights is like Britain's contribution to fine cuisine - a contribution best not made.
David Ridenour
Well it's distressing news. We had a doctor come in and try to explain to us probably what's going to happen. The last thing he said what that if he has good luck things will hopefully work out. So let's hope that he has good luck.
