I know what their agenda was: They would like us to play in our home state, ... And our players like that, too, to be honest with you. It's just more of a travel issue and a family issue. But I'm sure our families and their families and friends will go to Baton Rouge to see the game and be with them.

I know our players would like to play them all here. But if we have to play some in Baton Rouge, that's a good alternative because of our fan base and our people there. But we still have to travel.

In the last few years, family travel has exploded. But now families are really going together with no one left behind since September 11. If something bad happens, families don't want to be separated.

To be quite honest, there is never a good time to play LSU. Our challenge is humongous. Baton Rouge is one of the greatest places to see a college football game. We need to enjoy that, but not get caught up in it.

The weather in Baton Rouge hasn't been an issue, ... It's just been the amount of evacuees we've had to adjust to.

On issue after issue, the Bush Administration has put the interests of its corporate cronies ahead of protecting the safety and security of America's working families. The Republican culture of corruption continues to have real costs for America's working families. We worked together the whole time. The whole crew works like a family. Mr. Sheldon made sure I had a home to stay in, and we're all in the house (Mitchell, his father, and Stewart in east Baton Rouge). We've just been sticking together like family. I hadn't heard from some of my family, then I did...everyone's OK now, and so I can rest.

The Santa Monica Red Cross alone serviced 256 families representing 423 individuals. Seventy-nine families were housed in hotels and motels while many others found accommodations with friends and families.
