I don't plan on ordsprog

I don't plan on taking many off days after I get back, put it that way. But I don't expect to have to play nine innings soon.

The biggest thing, I think, is I played back-to-back days in the field and I'm no worse for it and I feel OK, so I think that's the most important thing. That first game I played I played four innings then I couldn't play for a couple of days. Now, I've played four innings back to back so that's good.

It seems like our hot innings are the first, sixth and seventh. But somehow in the middle innings we get satisfied and kind of let the game play itself instead of taking charge.

Today it wasn't bad, for me to be able to come back after the other night and be able to bounce back. I'm happy with it. I don't expect to be able to know whether I can play right now. This is a little too early, I've got to get through my soreness first and then a little later on see what I can do. Right now my main focus is to get out there and throw the ball in between innings, get my legs under me, things like that.

Without adopting and implementing a measured and credible plan, coalition forces could be needed for an indeterminate time. Without such a plan, Iraqis may never assume responsibility for taking back their country from the insurgents and taking the risks and making the compromises necessary to chart their own destiny.

We'll be alright. We need a few days off, we'll be ready to play. It's sad that you have to play such great teams back to back then you have six days off. It's not the right way to play your best basketball. I am proud of the way we've battled back though. This has been a very difficult way to start.

He has to earn that right to play. It all goes back to the plan to win and taking care of the football. If there is any chance that he would put our defense in a bad position, he will not see the field.

We'll probably only have four days from the time they get back until we play a game. They are going to be taking plenty of swings to get their timing down at the plate.

We can't expect to have (Germaine) back this week. It's just two early, and it's too tender. It's going to take a lot of improvement in the next three days for him to be able to play ? but that could happen.

We went 10 innings with them the first time, and I expect it to be a good ball game on Tuesday. They have two good right handers that I expect to face, so we'll try to see what we can do with them, but it's going to be competitive all the way through. You just have to come out ready to play every night.

I think the plan is ... is a brilliant plan and we've been at it now for less than a week, ... We're just about to Baghdad. Some of the biggest losses we have taken are due to Iraqi's committing serious violations of the law of arm conflict and the Geneva Conventions by dressing as civilians and luring us into surrender situations and opening fire on our troops. So this is a plan that is very well thought out and will play out as we expect.

We knew going in that we were going to pitch by the innings. (Drew) Baker pitched really well for us early on, but he got tired, so we said, 'Oh well, we'll use Plan B, then Plan C, then Plan D.' So we just kept rolling and tried to let the kids get outs.

Looked like he was swinging and not driving the ball to the plate. Everything was high the first couple innings, but when he found out what it was, the third inning was more like him. The ball was down all the time. Some days you get those days where it seems like the mechanics might be off just a little, but he came back and did what he was supposed to do.

I was getting a little jump in my shot. I had a little break taking those days off. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. I was kind of disappointed in myself taking those days off. I felt sorry for taking off Friday and Saturday.
