We stood and waited too much instead of stepping toward the ball. We did not shoot well although we got some good looks.

Our biggest problem was getting them in transition and not letting them shoot standing still. We didn't do that in the first half. We wanted to make them put the ball on the floor to shoot it. There were plenty of times where they just stood and shot a 3-pointer.

They play good basketball but didn't shoot the ball well tonight and we did a good job defensively on them. They had good energy but the shots weren't going down for them. I don't know if it was because Ray Allen was out but they normally shoot the ball better than that.

He's probably the most talented guy we have on the team. He can run, block shots, defend and he can shoot the ball. She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. I just hope he doesn't get discouraged and continues to work hard. That's the same thing that Al did. He knew he was good but waited his time. And when his time came, he took advantage of it.

Give Jamestown a lot of credit. They are well-coached and they shoot the ball very well. That is one thing about NAIA teams: they may be a little smaller, but they generally shoot the ball well. Jamestown played hard until the end and they never quit. They have a good, young team.

Overall, it was a good win for us because the ball wasn't falling. We didn't shoot to our capability so it was good to see us shoot well from the free-throw line.

Veterans should know better. We learned a valuable lesson of when to shoot and when not to shoot. When we pass the ball and screen we're a good shooting team. If you take bad shots, no matter how good a shooter you are, it's not going to go in.

Rick Pitino (1952-)

They do a lot of good things. They're quick, they're big and they can shoot the ball really well. Our big key is how we shoot the ball.
