en This is a great lesson for all these guys. They can win without Gerry. It will help make them stronger. It gives us a chance to rest Gerry.

en Brian was very uncomfortable and was in a bit of shock so we had to look after him. An X-ray has come back all-clear, but it is very swollen and badly bruised.

en It's kind of gone back and forth. His hamstring has been bothering him and this is more of a thigh. What's keeping him out now is the thigh.

en Gerry is a marked man. He gets face-guarded, he gets hit. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. That guy has to go through so much. Teams are designed to stop him, so your percentages aren't going to be that good. Gerry doesn't go to the foul line, so he gets his points off made baskets. en The good news for us is that everyone's going to be back. We haven't got a long-term injury so if they come back next week or the week after, we've got no-one out for the rest of the season.

en He got a knee into his thigh; right above it so his quad wasn't firing. We were worried that the ligament was a little unstable. It's a bruised quad.

en I didn't feel like it (the thigh muscle) was going to go again so it's feeling pretty good. It's been one of those ones we had to be pretty careful with because if I did it again it probably would have been the end of my tour.

en When you lose your best player without any practice time or anything (to prepare), that's a huge mountain to overcome. I think this is a great lesson for the other guys, that they can win without Gerry. That'll help make them stronger, give us a chance to rest Gerry. Other guys know they can step up and make plays.

en Jeter hit the ball pretty good that game. Watson Chapel played two games while we were on Spring Break. We were a little rusty with the bats. I think that might have hurt us a little bit. But the good thing is we didn't have any conference games this week. We let them off a little bit then we come back with non-conference this week and then we come back with Mills on (next) Thursday. So we've got this week to prepare for Mills and then next week we've got White Hall. By then, a lot of things will start shaping up.

en I got it going pretty good today and overall the week was pretty good. Now I'm going home and rest.
