en They did a good job on him. They made him work for everything. He couldn't get any penetration.

en We weren't able to stop their penetration. We couldn't keep them in front and they made good decisions.

en They had a lot of good girls. I wanted to stop her penetration. She didn't shoot that much from the outside in the first half. In the second half she made one on me. The main key was to stop her penetration.

We ran a little man and then went to a couple of different types of zones to [stop] penetration. They're a little quicker than us. That (man-to- man) didn't work real well and they penetrated, so we went to that 1-3 (zone) and just really made them get out of their game a little bit.

en We've had a tendency to rush against a zone and that makes us have to get out and work that much harder on defense. When we're patient we can use our speed and our penetration to try and get some good looks on the inside.

en Right now he doesn't need to be an offensive force for us. He made some good plays, was available on penetration. We don't need him to score every time he touches the ball. He's very mature with his approach. That showed.

en Shots weren't falling. I felt like we had a lot of good looks and we couldn't get them to go down. It wasn't easy, and we made it harder on ourselves than we needed to. Defensively, we've been pretty consistent all year. It's something we could always rely on. Offensively, we have work to do.
